Fixed biometric and SIM clocking options

Reliable and versatile clocking devices that can’t be fooled

Fixed biometric attendance recording devices such as hand-scanners and fingerprint readers are particularly useful because they provide evidence of the identity of an employee making a clocking as well as the time and date – it is impossible for someone to clock in on somebody else’s behalf. They are simple to use and maintain and staff don’t need to carry a card or fob.

Fingerprint readers and hand scanners

These readers identify employees through the minute and complex detail of a fingerprint. Because of this they work best in a clean environment

We offer two types of fingerprint reader: a fixed-point terminal for locations with full connectivity, which can be cabled or wireless; and, for areas with little or no technical infrastructure, such as remote sites, a GPRS (general packet radio service) device that uses a SIM-card to transfer data.

Hand scanning can be a useful alternative to fingerprint readers, particularly in dirtier environments. Although easyLog is no longer able to offer hand-scanner terminals, we can provide attendance recording software to work with your legacy device.

Face recognition, fingerprint or fob – it’s up to you

The highly versatile uFace multi clocking terminal offers a choice of facial or fingerprint recognition – or both. It can also be used with radio-frequency identification (RFID) fobs or cards if that suits your workers best.

Easy to use and with advanced verification technology, the terminal can store up to 3,000 face templates, 4,000 fingerprints and 10,000 card and tag records. It is ideal for employers who require a high level of security and/or staff attendance monitoring and is available in both cabled and wireless versions.

Get to know Nohmad – cost-effective clocking for remote sites

Nohmad is a simple and inexpensive range of attendance recording terminals ideal for keeping track of workers who attend a small number of remote locations where there is no Ethernet or wireless connectivity – such as cleaners visiting a large building, supported living providers and building contractors working on-site.

These fixed devices use a SIM card to send clocking data – time, date, location and employee ID – direct to your easyLog software. Nohmad units are mains-powered and have two activation options:

  • Fingerprint, which is more suitable for clean working environments
  • i-Button, which is suitable for a wide variety of locations and conditions

Both variants require a contract with a mobile phone network.
